Gia Conti practices Civil Litigation with a focus in Family Law.
Ms. Conti earned her law degree from the John Marshall Law School in Chicago, Illinois. While in law school, Ms. Conti was on the Dean’s List and was a CALI award winner in Advanced Tort law. She was also a part of the Mock Trial Honors society where she competed in many mock trial competitions including the American University Mock Trial Competition where she earned an award for “Best Overall Plaintiff’s Advocate.”
Prior to joining LAKE TOBACK, Ms. Conti served as a judicial extern for the Honorable Judge Jesse G. Reyes of the Circuit Court of Cook County, Chancery Division while simultaneously clerking for the Cook County Public Defender Felony Trial Division. She also clerked for Illinois Court of Claims Commissioner George G. Argionis.
Ms. Conti worked in DuPage County for just over two years, just prior to joining LAKE TOBACK. She has handled an array of family law matters, including but not limited to divorce, contested custody cases, D.C.F.S. appeals, post-decree modifications, and orders of protection. Ms. Conti also clerked for the law firm Anesi, Ozmon, Rodin, Novak & Kohen, Ltd., where she wrote extensively for their Common Law department.
